Miss Yesterday: Quotes by Alan Ayckbourn

"Miss Yesterday is really pretty dark, with a young girl going back in time, at first to save her brother, the golden child of the family, from being run over, but then she meets herself as an older, cancer-raddled woman, and realises she has to let him die after all, so that she will go on to win the Nobel Prize for discovering a cure for cancer. There were six-year-olds in the audience who didn't seem fazed at all by the themes. I just made sure it wasn't written in complex language and that there was a clear moral."
